About

I’m Lawrence, the “Lawrence” in this website’s name. The Goliath is, of course, my gargantuan gaming backlog that’s been steadily growing for some time now. Where others curate a short list of games they’re interested in and call it a day, I’d be remiss if I let all of these titles collect dust after playing them briefly as a kid. Thus, the origin of this blog.

Lawrence and Goliath is a casual space to appreciate my favorite artistic medium. It’s here that I review whatever’s on my mind, not whatever the newest blockbuster release is. I’ll dive back a few years and visit a title that I never touched, revisit a classic from my childhood, and occasionally leave periodic updates on what I’m playing in my Tackling the Backlog series. This isn’t the only home for my writing. My more thoughtful and serious work can be found on SUPERJUMP, Stop Caring, and startmenu

So, join me as I travel through my extensive backlog and all the games that I keep buying even though I already have a mountain to climb. Lawrence and Goliath is 100% reader funded, with optional paid support tiers, but everything will always be free to read. Thank you for taking the time to come to my little corner of the internet.
